2024 Buick Envista: A New Standard in the Small SUV Segment

Buick is set to revolutionize the small SUV category with the 2024 Envista, a premium vehicle set to embody the brand's innovative design philosophy first showcased in the Wildcat EV concept.

A Fresh Vision for Small SUVs

The Envista is an exceptional offering that elegantly blends SUV utility with the sleekness of a sedan. Duncan Aldred, Global Vice President of Buick-GMC, believes Envista will disrupt the segment with its stunning design, advanced technology, and premium affordability. The vehicle will feature three unique trims - Preferred, Sport Touring (ST), and the luxurious Avenir, extending the admired Avenir sub-brand across Buick’s portfolio.

Revolutionary Design

Fully adopting Buick's modern design language, the Envista's sculpted body, low-profile silhouette, and iconic Buick emblem above the intricate grille, pay homage to Buick's heritage. Evolved versions of Buick's signature wing lighting grace the headlamps and taillamps, contributing to the refined, layered look.

An Interior Above the Rest

The Envista offers an impressively spacious and bright cabin, providing more legroom than any previous small Buick SUV. Twin 19-inch infotainment screens and an enhanced Buick infotainment system assure easy access to vehicle controls. With colourful seat stitching and Avenir and ST logos adorning head restraints, the Envista promises a premium and serene driving experience.

Safety and Performance at the Forefront

The Envista comes standard with the Buick Driver Confidence package 2, ensuring an array of safety and driver assistance technologies. A flexible cargo space with up to 42 cubic feet provides practicality, affirming Envista as a holistic package.

Under the hood, the 1.2L Turbo engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission offers a robust 136 horsepower and 162 lb-ft. of torque. Scott McLane, lead development engineer of the Envista, asserts that the new engine iteration promotes vehicle lightness, efficiency, and nimble handling.

A Promising Future

With production set to begin next month and availability expected this summer, the 2024 Envista is all geared up to redefine the small SUV segment. Through the Envista, Buick further consolidates its reputation as an innovator in the automotive industry.
